Why Coaching?

Empowerment coaching gets to the root of what is preventing you from meeting your goals. You will receive guidance in gaining awareness and clarity, releasing blocks, overcoming fears, forgiving yourself, taking intentional action, and ultimately achieving your goals.

This is not a passive pursuit! If you want to work with me, you will need to be willing to be self-reflective and honest with yourself, put in consistent effort, and be willing to make changes. I will be there supporting you through, but you will be holding the reins. As you do, your confidence and your ability to make empowering decisions will increase. Your resilience, emotional wellbeing, and satisfaction will improve.  

How is Coaching Different from Therapy?

Although both empowerment coaching and therapy support personal growth and well-being, the focuses and approaches are different. With coaching, the focus is primarily on the present and future. It is about identifying deeper desires, taking action, learning accountability, personal growth, building confidence, and attaining goals. Therapy often focuses more on the past and present, helping clients understand and heal from emotional trauma, behavioral patterns, and mental health challenges. The goals are to improve emotional and psychological well-being. One is not better than the other. They just serve different purposes.

Also important to note: Empowerment Coaches do not diagnose or treat mental illnesses.
